TSS GmbH’s materials- and warehouse-management system handles the procurement, warehouse and spare-parts logistics services at all Lausitz Energie Bergbau AG and Lausitz Energie Kraftwerke AG warehouse locations.
The company is responsible for all warehouse-logistics services concerned with the necessary auxiliary and operating materials, as well as spare and wear parts. The range of services includes everything from cataloguing, materials planning and release creation through receiving, inspection and warehousing to picking and provision. In this way, TSS GmbH ensures optimal security of supply for the Lausitz Energie Bergbau AG and Lausitz Energie Kraftwerke AG business units of LEAG. To achieve this objective, the company organises and implements an effective and cost-optimised information and material flow chain.
For warehouse management, this includes
- Ensuring proper warehouse and waste disposal by complying with applicable regulations,
- Organising the monitoring of storage durations, storage conditions, storage equipment and the necessary conservation measures,
- Organisation von Materialtransporten und Krangestellungsanforderungen Organising material transport and crane-provisioning requirements,
- Developing customer-oriented warehouse-logistics solutions in coordination and collaboration with the customer, and
- Organising and performing inventories for the entire material- and warehouse-management system.
For material and waste management, further services include
- Monitoring materials planning or supporting optimal stock development – with the aim of achieving needs-based and on-schedule provisioning,
- Specifying economically optimised materials-planning data for warehouse material based on technical requirements,
- Ensuring proper disposal processes for scrap by complying with legal regulations and providing support for marketing, and
- Performing master-material-data analysis, controlling and consulting for quality assurance in the supply-chain process.
